Travel Creator Tools & Resources
The essentials I use (and love) as a full-time travel content creator.
Welcome to My Travel Creator Toolkit
If you’re ready to start building your travel content creator journey — or you’re already on your way — these are the tools that help me stay organized, creative, and consistent while working from anywhere in the world.
I only share tools I personally use and genuinely recommend. Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through them (at no extra cost to you). As always, I only share tools I believe will help you grow your creator business and make travel life a little easier.

Travel Content Creation Tools
These are my go-to tools for creating, editing, and managing content while on the road:
Canva
My absolute favorite design platform for everything — from blog graphics and social posts to course materials and Pinterest pins. Canva makes it easy to stay consistent with your brand aesthetic (and it’s perfect for non-designers).
CapCut
If you’re creating travel Reels or TikToks, CapCut is a simple, powerful video editor that works beautifully on both mobile and desktop. I love it for quick storytelling edits that don’t require a big learning curve.

Creator Business & Productivity Tools
Behind every travel brand is a surprisingly strong system. These are the tools that keep my business running smoothly while I’m on the move:
Google Workspace
My digital home base for everything business-related — from email and calendar to documents and file storage. I use Google Workspace daily to stay organized across all my projects.
Shopify
This is the platform I use to sell my digital products (like my Travel Itinerary Planner). It’s user-friendly, integrates beautifully with my website, and allows me to easily expand as my brand grows.
Later
Social media planning and scheduling made simple. Later helps me batch-plan posts, stay consistent, and manage content across multiple platforms — all while keeping that warm, Nomadically Ashley aesthetic front and center.

Travel Tools I Love
Because content creation is only part of the journey — these are the tools that make travel itself smoother and more enjoyable:
Airalo
No more SIM card hassles. Airalo’s eSIMs let me get local data as soon as I land, in almost any country. It’s a must-have for digital nomads and frequent travelers.
Skyscanner
My go-to platform for finding affordable flights and comparing options. I love that you can search “Everywhere” when you’re feeling spontaneous (which, let’s be honest, is most of the time).
Booking.com
Whether I’m looking for a cozy apartment, boutique hotel, or something last-minute, Booking.com is always where I start. It’s flexible, reliable, and has great cancellation options for long-term travelers.
What Other Creators Love
While these aren’t tools I personally use right now, they’re highly recommended by other travel creators I trust — and may be worth exploring as you grow.
Lightroom
The go-to photo editing tool for many travel photographers. If you’re ready to level up your editing beyond mobile filters, Lightroom gives you complete control over your visuals.
Epidemic Sound
A favorite among video creators for royalty-free music and sound effects. It can instantly elevate your travel videos and Reels.
SafetyWing
A flexible travel insurance option built specifically for digital nomads and long-term travelers. Many of my peers use it for peace of mind on the road.
Wise
An international banking tool that helps creators manage payments and transfers in multiple currencies — often with lower fees than traditional banks.
