WHO I AM

Hi, I’m Ashley—a solo traveler, digital nomad, content creator, and marketing entrepreneur behind Nomadically Ashley.

In 2022, I lost my dog Copper—my best friend and the soul who had been by my side since I graduated college. His passing cracked something open in me. And in that space—grief, freedom, and reflection—I made a choice: to finally do what I had always dreamed of.

I packed my life into a storage unit, said goodbye to the only routine I’d known, and hit the road to travel the world full-time.

Since then, I’ve been chasing sunsets and healing in cities across North America, South America, and Europe—working remotely, creating content, and building a life on my terms.

WHY I STARTED THIS BRAND

For over a year, I didn’t share much of my journey. I just lived it.

But after a 3-month trip across Europe, something shifted. I realized I didn’t want all of these memories—these experiences—to live silently in my camera roll.

I created Nomadically Ashley to:

  • Inspire others to travel—because you don’t need a trust fund to see the world
  • Teach future travel creators how to actually build something sustainable (without the fluff)
  • Document my journey—for my future self, for my people, and for anyone who needs a little push to start theirs

WHAT YOU WON’T FIND HERE

You won’t find sugar-coated reviews, overly polished pics, or influencer highlight reels.

I believe in:

  • Transparency – I’ll tell you when a place disappointed me, and why
  • Honesty – I won’t pretend travel is always easy
  • Respect – Every culture, every place, and every experience deserves understanding—even when it’s not for me

WHO I’M HERE FOR

  • The solo traveler who wants to feel brave and prepared
  • The remote worker itching to try life on the road
  • The content creator who’s overwhelmed and unsure where to start
  • The wanderer-at-heart who’s stuck in a life that no longer fits

If that’s you—welcome. I’ve been there.

WHAT I BELIEVE

  • Travel isn’t expensive. Vacationing is expensive.
  • You don’t need a million followers to be a travel creator. You need a strategy.
  • Life is too short to wait for the “perfect time.”
  • You’re more capable than you realize.
  • And you don’t have to do this alone.

WHERE I AM NOW

Still nomadic. Still healing. Still learning.

And more excited than ever to help YOU see the world your way.
