Zion National Park, Utah
April 2021

Highlights from Zion National Park
- Hiking the Narrows (even with chilly water temperatures)
- Riding through the whole length of the park on ebikes, getting to stop wherever we wanted
- Getting to camp just outside the park for two nights
The Top Things to Do in Zion National Park
I could have spent way more time exploring Zion National Park. In fact, Austin and I spent extra time in Zion because of how much we loved it. We were only planning to stay one night but ended up camping for two so that we could go back the next morning to hike The Narrows before heading to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hike The Narrows
Austin and I didn't originally plan to hike The Narrows while we visited Zion National Park. But once we were there and spent time in the park, we knew we needed to.
We spent some time during our first day figuring out logistics to go the next morning. We needed an early bus ticket to get us to The Narrows at the start of the day (and managed to win them in the bus ticket lottery), then we needed to rent water gear.
Everything worked out, and we had an incredible time hiking this unique trail in Zion National Park.

Rent ebikes to ride through the park
This was such a fun way to see all of Zion National Park in one day. Obviously if you do this, you're likely not going to be doing one of the longer hikes, but it's such a fun way to get around. You can stop anywhere you like, unlike if you choose to get a bus ticket.

What I'd Love to Do Next Time
Austin and I only spent about 48 hours in the area of Zion National Park. You can only see so much of this massive national park in that amount of time. When I go back, the top thing I want to do is hike Angel's Landing, which you have to have a permit to hike. In addition, I'd love to go on other hikes in the park as well as hike The Narrows from the other side (which is less common).
As of now I have no plans to go back, but Zion is one of my favorite national parks in the United States.
